Im practicing my three octave g major scale on the violin and i need help!?

When i shift up into fifth position those notes sound scratchy . I here the note but i also here this noise of my bow against the string and it sounds not so pretty. Hiw do i place my bow to make it sound pretty or what can i do? Thanks
